The Green Climate Fund is seeking nominations to fill four seats on its Indigenous Peoples Advisory Group for the 2027 to 2030 term, one each for Africa, Eastern Europe and Central Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean, and the Pacific. The group advises the Fund, governments and the organisations delivering GCF-financed projects on anything that affects Indigenous Peoples. Nominees are chosen through an Indigenous Peoples-led self-selection process and put forward by Indigenous Peoples' organisations, networks and regional caucuses, not by individuals applying for themselves. **What you get:** - A seat on the GCF's formal Indigenous Peoples advisory body for a three-year term - A direct line to the GCF Board, its Secretariat and the entities that run GCF-funded climate projects - Travel arrangements for in-person meetings may be supported under GCF policies; the role itself is voluntary and unpaid **What you'll do:** - Advise the GCF's Indigenous Peoples focal point, national designated authorities and accredited entities on GCF-financed activities affecting Indigenous Peoples - Review how the GCF Indigenous Peoples Policy is implemented and monitored - Attend two in-person meetings a year and join monthly online meetings, with extra online meetings for specific activities - Share what comes out of GCF work back to your communities and regional networks **Key dates:** - Call published 9 September 2026 - Nominations close 9 October 2026 - Term runs 2027 to 2030 **More information:** - Full criteria are in the IPAG Terms of Reference: https://www.greenclimate.fund/sites/default/files/documents/2026-09/ipag-tor-updated-may-2025-ipag-6-v-final.pdf - Nominations go by email to IPAGnomination@gcfund.org - The working language of the GCF is English
