The Zoological Society of London EDGE Fellowship backs early-career conservationists leading projects to protect Evolutionarily Distinct and Globally Endangered species in their home regions. What you get: ➤ GBP 15,000 grant for project implementation ➤ Six weeks of in-person training ➤ 28-month structured Fellowship from January 2027 to May 2029 ➤ Wraparound mentorship and professional development ➤ Support to design and deliver a full conservation project plan ➤ Lifetime membership in the global EDGE Fellows network What you'll do: ➤ Submit a stage one Expression of Interest by 10 June 2026 ➤ Propose a locally led project focused on an eligible EDGE species ➤ If shortlisted, submit a full application by 12 August 2026 ➤ Lead conservation action in your country with EDGE programme support ➤ Build skills in project design, budgeting, community engagement, and science communication Open to nationals or long-term residents of countries outside the G12, EU, New Zealand, and South Korea. The application runs in two stages, an Expression of Interest first, then a full proposal if shortlisted.
