Commonwealth Distance Learning Master's Scholarships
- Organization: Commonwealth Scholarship Commission (CSC)
- Type: Scholarship
- Funding: Fully Funded
The Commonwealth Distance Learning Master's Scholarships let you study a UK master's degree from home, without relocating to the UK. The program is run by the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission (CSC) and funded by the UK government. It's designed for high-achieving postgraduate students from least developed and middle-income Commonwealth countries who want access to world-class training that isn't available locally, or who need to stay in their home country while they study. Scholarships last up to six years, reflecting the modular structure of the courses, and are funded on an ongoing basis. You apply through a participating UK university that has already been approved for the program, and the university does an initial selection before the CSC gives final approval. There are approved courses across six development themes, so the focus is on fields that can make a real difference back home. To apply, you need to both secure admission to an approved master's course at a participating UK university and submit an application through the CSC's online system, CSC Central. Applications for the 2026/27 academic year are now closed, with study starting September/October 2026.
