About this opportunity

The Interactivity Foundation runs the Collaborative Discussion Emerging Fellowship, a year-long programme for people already working to strengthen discussion and democracy in their own community. Each Emerging Fellow is paired with a Senior Fellow for mentorship, trains as a Collaborative Discussion coach, and delivers a real community project. The fellowship is hosted at the University of Delaware and requires legal authorisation to work in the United States.

What you'll do:

Attend the in-person Fellows Launch at the University of Delaware on January 7 and 8, 2027
Complete five sessions of virtual Coach Training in January and February 2027
Design and deliver a project that brings collaborative discussion to a community, such as a workshop, a certificate programme or a new activity for the CDP Toolkit
Produce a publication, video or curriculum that advances the Foundation's mission
Submit a project proposal, a progress report and a final report, then present at the Fellows Showcase in November 2027
