Building on the success of the first Climate Policy Innovators Youth Camp held in February 2025, the UNFCCC Regional Collaboration Centre for Asia and the Pacific (RCC Asia-Pacific) is organizing the second edition of the Climate Policy Innovators Youth Camp in 2026. Designed to strengthen youth ability to engage in climate policymaking and implementation at national, regional, and international levels. Focus areas: - Climate governance and policy processes - NDCs and NAPs implementation pathways - Intersectionality (gender, disability, Indigenous identity, socioeconomic background) - Youth leadership and inclusion in climate negotiations Modules include: - Technical knowledge (GHG inventories, climate projections, transparency) - Applied skills (policy analysis, foresight methodology, diplomacy) - Hands‑on learning and collaboration with governments and stakeholders
