Uptown Climate Futures is a community-focused workshop series designed to bring young changemakers together to explore climate justice, sustainability, and creative solutions for the future. It’s organized by The Climateverse in collaboration with Uptown Climate Conversations and takes place in Uptown Toronto. The program emphasizes inclusive discussion, storytelling, reflective activities, and collective visioning—with a particular focus on amplifying the voices of BIPOC youth (ages 15–35). Through engaging sessions, participants explore personal and societal impacts of climate change, build community, and contribute to a collaborative anthology. Each workshop includes: - Guided conversations and interactive activities - Cozy, salon-style setting in a local coffee shop - Fully catered warm meal - Space for reflection, creative exploration, and action planning - There’s an optional anthology project at the end, where participants can submit writing or artwork inspired by the series.
