  • Participants must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents, generally aged 14 to 25
  • Not eligible: annual general assemblies, an organisation's regular ongoing operations, and projects whose main purpose is competition
  • A project cannot be funded by both Exchanges Canada and Youth Take Charge
  • Funded organisations need at least $2 million in general liability insurance and a written participant safety and protection plan
