ASIF Ignite is the first African cohort of the Adaptation SME Innovation Facility, funded by the Adaptation Fund, implemented by UNIDO and delivered with BFA Global. It takes founders who have already built something concrete and helps them put it in front of real farmers and agribusinesses over eight weeks, fully remote. The point is evidence: leaving with proof that real users want the thing, not a better slide deck. What you get: ➤ Weekly group workshops on customer discovery, lean experimentation, impact measurement and applied AI ➤ One-to-one office hours with specialists in AI, product and the agriculture sector ➤ Subscriptions to selected tools for the duration of the programme ➤ Playbooks for testing products in low-income, climate-vulnerable markets ➤ Feedback from industry experts and investors at a closing showcase ➤ Strong graduates are flagged for future Propel cohorts, which do carry grants of USD 70,000 to USD 90,000 What you'll do: ➤ Test your prototype with real intended users in real conditions, not a lab or a demo ➤ Run structured customer-discovery and lean validation experiments ➤ Find where AI could strengthen your solution, whether or not you use it today ➤ Build measurable evidence of demand and adaptation impact ➤ Attend two workshop sessions a week plus asynchronous work between them ➤ Present at the closing showcase and feedback forum
