Acrylic on canvas and a first step into illustration
Ekta Gehlot paints in acrylic on canvas, has recently started digital illustration, and wants to enter international competitions in both.
Acrylic on canvas is Ekta Gehlot's usual medium. "I'm an emerging visual artist," she says.
Digital illustration is newer. "I also started digital illustration recently." For now that work is done on a very basic Android tablet, one that does not support the Procreate app she wants to use.
“I think I have that talent and confidence.”

The aim is bigger than the tools. "I want to participate in so many international competitions of painting and illustration," Ekta says. Fees have been the obstacle. Mostly every good opportunity charges one, she says, "so I couldn't participate".
Ekta is based in Udaipur and is looking for a next step. The hope is that money stops being the reason an opportunity is missed.
"I'll do the hardwork."
