An eighteen-year-old running a 24/7 threat-hunting desk

Destiny Joy Sagay founded Sector Seven Cyber, a B2B cybersecurity agency working with law firms, medical clinics and corporate offices across the United States, built around people watching around the clock rather than software alerts.

The pitch rests on a distinction. Most security products send alerts and leave it there. Sector Seven Cyber, Destiny Joy Sagay says, runs a live, human-led threat-hunting engine: people looking, continuously, rather than software flagging and waiting to be read.

She is eighteen, a college student, and the founder of Sector Seven Cyber LLC, known as ssc. It is a business-to-business agency, and its clients are the ordinary institutions that hold a great deal of sensitive material and rarely have a security team of their own: law firms, medical clinics, corporate offices. The service it sells is a 24/7 Managed Detection and Response framework, which in practice means uninterrupted monitoring and threat containment.

“Immediate execution matters far more than corporate longevity.”

Destiny Joy Sagay

The assumption she is working against is that enterprise-grade cyber defence requires a decades-old corporate pedigree. She and her team, she says, are dismantling that quietly, by doing the work: continuous vigilance is what the clients are buying, and the question of who is old enough to provide it turns out to be separate from the question of whether it is being provided well.

Her age, she says, has moved from being a conversational curiosity to being the point.
