Youth Migration Innovation Award

The Migration Youth and Children Platform, the migration arm of the UN Major Group for Children and Youth, runs this global pitch competition for young people already running a solution to a migration challenge. Six finalists get a month of online pitch coaching and present live to a high-level jury, and one winner in each of three categories receives seed funding to scale the project.   • Aged 18 to 30 inclusive on 23 November 2026, with no exceptions
  • Apply alone or as a team or organisation, with one lead applicant and spokesperson who meets every criterion
  • The initiative is youth-led or has a significant youth leadership component
  • It is already implemented or tested with demonstrable results; ideas and concepts alone are not eligible
  • It can realistically be replicated or scaled at regional, national or international level
  • Its primary users are migration actors: migrants and diaspora, governments, employers, civil society or host communities
  • Working proficiency in English at roughly CEFR B2; the form itself can be completed in English, Spanish or French
  • A two-page CV in PDF is required; a video pitch is optional but recommended
  • Winners must have a bank account able to receive international transfers via Wise
