The Youth Endowment Fund hosts one of three UKRI What Works Innovation Fellowships on preventing violence against women and girls. Over 18 months you would lead research into what stops VAWG perpetration among young people, with a particular interest in online harms and tech-facilitated abuse, and help launch a National What Works Programme coordinated by the Cabinet Office. It sits at the point where research actually reaches policy. What you get: ➤ An 18 month fellowship funded by UKRI's Research and Development Missions Accelerator Programme ➤ A base inside a government-backed What Works Centre, with YEF's Data and Insight and Toolkit teams around you ➤ A leading role in launching a National What Works Programme on VAWG ➤ Work alongside the Cabinet Office, UKRI, universities and VAWG sector services ➤ Hybrid working from YEF's London office, with two office visits a month expected ➤ A fellowship you co-design with your host centre rather than one handed to you What you'll do: ➤ Lead research filling evidence gaps on VAWG prevention, focused on online harms and tech-facilitated abuse ➤ Develop YEF's annual Child Vulnerability and Violence survey with the Data and Insight team ➤ Summarise the best available research for YEF's Toolkit ➤ Review VAWG prevention practice across England and Wales to inform programme design ➤ Manage YEF-commissioned secondary data analysis projects on VAWG
