Good to know

  • +Deadline verified verbatim on the programme page: 'Deadline September 30, 2026 at 11:59 PM UTC', and repeated in the selection process panel
  • +Fee check run across the whole page including all 25 FAQs. No application, registration or processing fee anywhere
  • +Fully Funded is not a marketing claim here. Successful candidates receive a GF-level salary and a full benefits package, and travel and accommodation are covered for panel interviews
  • +Logo taken from the World Bank Group's own JSON-LD markup, a vector wordmark, not a favicon service
  • +Banner is the programme page's own hero photograph at 1200x799
  • +Every fact came from worldbank.org. Nothing was taken from the aggregator

Worth checking yourself

  • !Type is a judgement call. This is filed as a Fellowship, but the World Bank Group describes the outcome as a two-year staff appointment at GF level with salary and benefits, so Job is defensible. Fellowship was kept because it is a cohort-based development programme with rotations and an academy
  • !The dedicated application portal URL is not published yet. The portal opens September 1, 2026, so the application link points at the official programme page rather than a form
  • !The organisation's own FAQ carries one stale line from the previous cycle. The 2026 dates in the Application section were used throughout
  • !Eligibility is by nationality of a member country, not residence, and applicants must be willing to be posted to any World Bank Group office worldwide
