The United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research is taking on a Graduate Professional in its Integrated Approaches, Gender and Disarmament Programme in Geneva. Who can apply

Either enrolled in a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher), or graduated with a second university degree and able to start within one year of graduating
Preference goes to post-graduate qualifications relevant to gender, youth and disarmament, for instance international relations, political science, international law or gender studies
No professional work experience required, though experience or interest in conventional arms control is an asset
Fluency in English, spoken and written; knowledge of another official UN language is an asset
Computer literate in standard software including Microsoft Office and graphic design tools such as Canva or InDesign
Submit a cover letter, a PDF of an Inspira Personal History Profile, and answers of up to 250 characters to each of five screening questions
Before starting, you must show proof of valid medical insurance covering the full period of the programme and provide a medical certificate of good health
Incomplete applications, and applications generated with artificial intelligence, will not be processed
