Stanford Graduate School of Business runs a two-year, fully funded predoctoral programme for graduates who are weighing up a PhD in business, economics or a related field. Fellows work 40 hours a week as research assistants to Stanford GSB faculty, take one graduate course a quarter, and receive a living stipend of $59,500 a year in 2026-27 plus tuition and health cover.
