Presidential Leadership Scholars (PLS) is a six-month leadership development fellowship co-run by the George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, Lyndon B. Johnson, and George H.W. Bush presidential centers. The 2027 class runs January to June 2027 at no cost to participants. What you get: ➤ Fully covered tuition, housing, meals, and travel across all modules ➤ Twenty days of on-location instruction at the four presidential centers ➤ Direct engagement with former presidents, administration officials, and academics ➤ A personal leadership project addressing a real community or organisational challenge ➤ Lifetime membership in the PLS network of alumni scholars What you'll do: ➤ Attend six modules hosted across the four presidential centers ➤ Complete assignments between sessions ➤ Build a personal leadership project tied to your work or community ➤ Engage with a cohort spanning geographic, professional, and political lines ➤ Present project outcomes to the cohort and faculty PLS is built for established, mid-career professionals with roughly a decade of leadership experience, not for early-career youth. The prestige sits in the four-center pedigree and the senior cohort it convenes each year.
