Designed to help young climate changemakers connect with other like-minded peers over hopeful essays about our future. Expect thoughtful conversation, moments of joy and new connections! This is more than a book club, it’s a route to remembering that burnout and climate anxiety are real, but so is the power we hold in community. With rising hopelessness and fatigue experienced in recent years, People Planet Pages aims to build youth-led communities as the first step to action. It fosters joy and cultivates connection, while exploring influential texts on maintaining momentum and resilience together. Focus: climate resilience, joy, and community connection. Activities include: - Group discussions on climate literature - Peer support around climate anxiety and burnout - Building youth-led communities as a first step to action Reading for 2026 cycle: - Not Too Late by Rebecca Solnit and Thelma Young Lutunatabua, 27 essays from 23 climate leaders reframing the climate story from despair to possibility.
