The OECD Co-operative Research Programme funds a research visit of 6 to 26 weeks at an institution in another participating country. It is aimed at established scientists working on sustainable agriculture, forestry, fisheries and food systems. You need four years of postdoctoral experience, and the programme says outright it is not for PhD students. What you get: ➤ A travel allowance calculated on a return economy class air ticket to the host institution ➤ A weekly subsistence allowance of EUR 600 or EUR 650, depending on the cost of living in the host country ➤ A terminal allowance of EUR 165 for the cost of taking up and leaving duties ➤ A research visit of 6 to 26 weeks at an institution in another CRP member country What you'll do: ➤ Carry out a research project on sustainable agriculture, forestry, fisheries, food systems or natural resource management ➤ Secure a host institution in another participating country and get a signed acceptance letter from them on headed paper ➤ Apply in English through the online form, attaching your CV and your publications from the last five years ➤ Confirm your arrival with the Secretariat through your host supervisor so the second payment can be released ➤ Return an evaluation questionnaire within two weeks of finishing, and a summary report within two months
