National AccessAbility Week Funding is a federal grant from Employment and Social Development Canada supporting projects that advance the Accessible Canada Act through National AccessAbility Week. The 2026 call funds the 2027 to 2029 cycle from a CAD 3.6 million envelope. What you get: ➤ Up to CAD 180,000 over three years for scalable NAAW projects ➤ Up to CAD 360,000 over three years for projects with regional or national scope and strong disability partnerships ➤ A three-year project runway from February 2027 to February 2030 ➤ Funding for activities aligned with the Accessible Canada Act priority areas ➤ Federal backing that strengthens future grant applications ➤ Virtual information sessions in June and July 2026 with sign language interpretation and CART captioning What you'll do: ➤ Design and deliver NAAW activities that raise awareness of accessibility and inclusion ➤ Highlight the contributions of persons with disabilities in communities and workplaces ➤ Partner with at least one disability organisation that leads on project design ➤ Scale activities across three years to reach more people ➤ Submit a full application through the Grants and Contributions Online Services portal The program runs every three years and selection is competitive across all applications. Individuals and provincial or territorial governments are not eligible. Applicants in Alberta and Quebec may need additional provincial approvals before signing a funding agreement.
