The Play Equity Fund, the Los Angeles nonprofit set up by the LA84 Foundation, runs a five-year pooled fund backing coalitions that are trying to fix youth sport in their own regions. This round puts two-year operating grants of $40,000 to $150,000 into collectives already organising around access, coaching quality and public investment in play.
