Tailored induction, mentoring and ongoing support, with additional guidance for Young Trustees on board responsibilities and governance
Reasonable expenses reimbursed, including travel and childcare
The role is voluntary and unremunerated

What you'll do:

Attend four Board meetings a year, held in the afternoon in person in London or online, plus an in-person away day in October; the March Board meeting is always in person
Sit on one or more Board sub-committees (Impact, Finance and Operations, People, Nominations, Growth), which meet online
Help set and shape Mission 44's strategic direction and hold the Executive to account
Ensure the charity meets its legal, financial and governance obligations
Represent and champion Mission 44 externally, and attend events from time to time
