Good to know

  • +A national community of other young people across Canada working on the same problems.
  • +Fully virtual, so you can take part from anywhere in the country.
  • +No sustainability job title or years of experience needed. They ask for curiosity and commitment.
  • +Covers environmental resilience, financial wellbeing and cooperation in business, so it is broader than a single climate programme.

Worth checking yourself

  • !There is a suggested contribution of $200 on a sliding scale. Leading Change say it is never a barrier and that employers often cover it, but you should know it is asked for before you apply.
  • !Applications close on 7 September, so there are only a few days left.
  • !You need to be aged 19 to 35 and living in Canada.
  • !The programme itself pays nothing. The value is the training and the network, not money.

LOT finds and checks opportunities from public sources. Always confirm details on the organiser’s own page before applying.
