About this opportunity

The International Youth Internship Program places Canadian youth with partner organizations in Africa, the Caribbean, Asia and Central America for a 4-month international internship. It is jointly run by the Atlantic Council for International Cooperation and the Marine Institute of Memorial University, has operated since 1997, and has sent over 7,000 young people abroad as part of the Government of Canada's Youth Employment and Skills Strategy.
