Who can apply

Open to applicants from any country. The application form's country of residence list covers every country.
No age limit appears anywhere on the travel grants page, the application form, the registration page or the about page.
You do not need to have registered for the conference before you apply.
You do not need an accepted abstract, paper or session. Having submitted one is a priority factor, not a requirement.
Priority is given to applicants resident in a country not classified as high-income by the World Bank, to students from any country, and to applicants who submitted an abstract for a talk, poster or session, or who are involved in a session submitted by someone else.
You may apply for one option only: registration waiver, US$500 or US$1,000.
The US$1,000 option is not available to applicants based in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand or Vietnam.
The form requires your organisation or affiliation and the sector you work in, and asks for up to 150 words on how attending will further your work and why you need funding.
All submissions must be in English and made through the online form.
Funding is limited and applying does not guarantee support.
People working or studying in human-wildlife conflict and coexistence who need financial help to get to the Bangkok conference. Anyone from any country may apply. The organisers say priority goes to residents of countries the World Bank does not classify as high-income, to students from any country, and to people who submitted an abstract or are named in a session someone else submitted. Those are stated as priorities, not as entry requirements.
