Hinge, the dating app, runs One More Hour as its social impact fund for the local social groups that give young people a reason to meet in person. The money is a general operating grant, so it covers the practical costs of keeping a group going, things like space, equipment and programming. Hinge has put $2.3 million into more than 100 groups since 2024 and is giving $1.5 million globally in 2026. Applications are read as they arrive, and nothing submitted after 31 October 2026 will be considered. **What you get:** - A general operating grant, which Hinge says averages between $5,000 and $25,000 USD - Money you can spend on the practical costs of running your group, such as space, programming and equipment - An email from Hinge within about 30 days of submitting if your group is selected - No application fee and no cost to apply **What you'll do:** - Fill in Hinge's application form with your name, your email and your group's name, mission and city - Say how often the group meets, how many people usually come and how long it has been running - Write up to 250 words on why the group was created and what you are proud of, and up to 250 words on the rituals and tools you use to build connection - Write up to 400 words on how you would spend the funding - Keep running the group, since the grant is for general operating costs rather than a new project **Key dates:** - Applications received June to August 2026 received priority - Applications submitted after October 31, 2026 will not be considered - Grants are awarded on a rolling basis, and selected groups hear back within about 30 days of submitting **More information:** - Programme page and the live application form sit at hinge.co/onemorehour - Questions go to impact@hinge.co - Hinge's announcement of 17 June 2026 explains how the current round works and who it is for - Past grantees named by Hinge include HBCUs Outside, Reading Rhythms, ATL Film Party and Intrsxtn Surf
