The Education for Climate Coalition, the European Commission's participatory community for climate and sustainability education, is collecting examples of green education projects already running in schools, universities and community settings across Europe. Nine projects, three in each of its three themes, will be chosen by a panel from the Education for Climate Secretariat, made up of EACEA, DG EAC and external experts. The representatives of those nine get a fully funded visit to Brussels to present their work on the hybrid stage at Education for Climate Day on 22 October 2026. **What you get:** - A fully funded visit to Brussels for Education for Climate Day 2026 on 22 October, for representatives of the nine selected projects - A slot on the hybrid stage to present your project and discuss its outcomes - Time with other climate education practitioners from across the European Education Area - Your project written up on the Coalition's community platform **What you'll do:** - Pick one of three themes: youth leadership and intergenerational dialogue for climate action, citizenship education and institutional action for sustainability, or GreenComp and envisioning sustainable futures - Post your project as a blog topic in the Education for Climate Day 2026 group on the Coalition platform - Fill in the Annual Call survey on EUSurvey, covering the project, the partners behind it and the GreenComp competences it addresses - If selected, travel to Brussels and present on the hybrid stage on 22 October 2026 **Key dates:** - Call opened 18 June 2026 - Submissions close 6 September 2026 - Selection outcome notified at the end of September 2026 - Education for Climate Day 2026 on 22 October 2026
