Good to know

+This pays the participant a real salary rather than covering costs: 41,000 to 44,450 dollars a year, full time, plus medical, dental and vision insurance for employees and dependents, paid sick time, vacation, a commuter benefit and possible needs-based student loan assistance
+No experience barrier, which is unusual for a paid year-long programme. What they ask for is passion, communication skills, leadership on campus or in the community, and work ethic
+Concrete, specific training: run three to five campaigns in different US locations, run a grassroots canvass office including hiring and managing staff, and receive eight weeks of classroom training
+Explicit career outcome: graduates are connected with organising jobs and most find professional positions immediately
+Strong track record: nearly 450 graduates over more than 35 years

Worth checking yourself

!The closing date could not be confirmed on the organisation's own pages. This listing shows no deadline, which does not mean applications are open indefinitely. Check the official page before you plan around it.
!No application deadline is published anywhere, so the record must not claim Rolling and must not invent a date. The August 2027 class start is the only anchor
!United States only, and the role is onsite
!Requires full geographic mobility within the US, moving between cities across the year
!The posting's machine-readable date is 2023 even though the body describes an August 2027 class, so the listing has been recycled rather than reissued. Worth re-checking nearer the cycle
!It is a job, not a grant or scholarship, with campaign fundraising and door-knocking as core duties
