The GoGettaz Agripreneur Prize Competition is one of Africa's leading platforms recognising innovative, scalable, and impact-driven youth-led agribusiness ventures across the food system. Open to entrepreneurs aged 18–35 who are nationals of African Union member states and founders or co-founders of legally registered agrifood ventures headquartered in an AU member state, the competition offers substantial financial rewards and global visibility. The Grand Prize awards $50,000 each to one male-led and one female-led promising business. An additional $60,000 in Impact Awards ($15,000 each) is distributed to businesses excelling in key areas: Technology & Innovation, Nutrition & Food Security, Job Creation, Climate Resilience, and Gender Equity. Eligible ventures may operate across any segment of agrifood systems, including production, aggregation and logistics, agro-processing, and digital innovations. Applications are reviewed by a world-class jury of food systems specialists and development partners from across the continent. Beyond funding, winners gain mentorship and international exposure. The deadline for the 2026 competition is 28 June 2026 at 11:59 PM EAT.
