The ESC offers young people the chance to volunteer, run solidarity projects, or join humanitarian aid missions across Europe and beyond. Activities range from short-term local projects to long-term cross-border volunteering in fields like culture, environment, health, sports, and humanitarian aid. Benefits include: - Funded travel, accommodation, and subsistence costs - Pocket money allowance during volunteering - Training and mentoring before and during projects - Membership in the ESC community and alumni network - Recognition through YouthPass certificat Activities: - Volunteering (short-term: 2 weeks to 2 months; long-term: 2 to 12 months) - Solidarity Projects (2 to 12 months, youth-led local initiatives) - Humanitarian Aid Volunteering (up to 12 months abroad) - Fields: Culture, environment, health, sports, education, social inclusion, humanitarian aid. - Funding: Travel, accommodation, insurance, and pocket money are covered. Rules: - Combined volunteering activities cannot exceed 12 months (from 2024 onwards). - You can only do one long-term cross-border volunteering activity. - You can participate in multiple solidarity projects (they don’t count toward the 12-month limit). - Application process: - Register on the ESC portal - Access personal dashboard with opportunities - Apply directly or be contacted by organizations
