The EU-LAC Digital Accelerator is funded by the European Union and led by TECNALIA with partners including IESE Business School, Wayra-Telefónica, IDB Lab and Caribbean Export. Who can apply

At least one startup or innovative SME and one corporate partner applying together as one partnership
All partners legally established in the European Union (27 member states), Latin America or the Caribbean (33 countries listed), and the partners must come from at least two of these three regions
Startup: 2 to 50 employees, annual turnover of EUR 50,000 to EUR 10 million, core business in developing or integrating digital technology
Scaleup or innovative SME: up to 250 employees and up to EUR 50 million turnover, with a digital core business
Corporate: more than 50 employees and more than EUR 10 million turnover, with a digital challenge and resources to commit; Caribbean companies may qualify below these thresholds
Private sector only; public entities are not eligible
The partnership must address a digital transformation challenge; Open Call #6 especially invites AI solutions but accepts any digital technology from any industry
Any existing agreement between the partners must be disclosed, and a formal agreement is needed before the programme starts
One application per partnership; a company can take part in at most two acceleration processes, each with different partners
