Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs is a European Commission exchange programme that places new or aspiring entrepreneurs with an experienced business owner in another participating country for one to six months. Who can apply

Over 18 years old; no upper age limit
Firmly planning to start a business on the basis of a viable business plan, OR less than three years of total entrepreneurial experience
Permanent resident of an EU member state or a participating SMP country (permanent residence means where your company is registered, or where you have spent 183 or more of the last 12 months if you have no registered company)
A concrete project or business idea reflected in a business plan; the programme asks for a sound educational and vocational background
Willing to collaborate with a host entrepreneur in another participating country and to contribute your own skills to their business
Ready to top up the programme grant from your own funds if your costs abroad exceed it
You must submit the application yourself through the official platform; applications via third parties lead to exclusion
No prior or family relationship with your host, and the exchange cannot be used as an internship, a job placement or to open a branch of the host's business
