Good to know
+Exceptional financial support: a stipend of 100,000 US dollars over 18 months, alongside leadership development, wellness support, pro-bono expert support and convenings
+Genuinely global and free of credential gatekeeping: you do not need to be US-based or American, there are no educational requirements, and organisations still in the idea phase are eligible
+The eligibility section is written as plain yes/no questions with worked eligible and not-eligible examples, plus an offline worksheet, sample answers, selection criteria and a webinar recording before you start
+Applicants who are not selected still receive numerical feedback showing how reviewers scored them against the published rubric, which is rare at this scale

!The closing date could not be confirmed on the organisation's own pages. This listing shows no deadline, which does not mean applications are open indefinitely. Check the official page before you plan around it.
!APPLICATIONS ARE CLOSED AND NO NEXT DATE IS PUBLISHED. Nobody can act on this record today. It should be held until Echoing Green announces the next cycle, not shown with a Rolling badge
!When the cycle does open it is short, three weeks, and the cutoff is 2:00 PM ET, not end of day. A late submission is refused without exception regardless of technical difficulty
!Not a general youth or student opportunity. You must be the original founder and primary decision maker of an early-stage organisation, 18 or older, and able to work 40 hours a week on it for 18 months
!For-profit and hybrid companies receive the stipend as a Recoverable Grant, repayable if the company is later valued above 5 million dollars
!Highly competitive: close to 2,000 applications per cycle
