About this opportunity

DW Akademie and the UN Human Rights Office are running a practical training in Bangkok from 6 to 8 October 2026 for journalists across South and Southeast Asia. It covers how to report on migration and on the scam compounds that trap migrants without stripping people of their dignity, and how disinformation and algorithmic amplification feed anti-migrant narratives. Travel and accommodation are covered. There is also a half-day online session in the last week of September.
