Climate Cardinals is a youth-led climate education nonprofit that translates climate information into more than 100 languages, with over 19,000 volunteers across 145 countries. Its Fellowship is the leadership arm of that work. Fellows are not observers. They join as core members of the organization and run real projects alongside executive staff, backed by a stipend so that money is not the reason a young person has to say no. The 2026-2027 cohort runs from September 2026 through May 2027. Fellows work through 14 skill-specific modules covering ground like project management, movement building, fundraising, and digital strategy, delivered as asynchronous material one week and live Zoom sessions the next. Alongside the curriculum, each fellow is placed on one of the organization's seven teams and owns a project end to end. The commitment is 3 to 5 hours a week across the academic year. Applications close Friday, July 31 at 11:59 PM ET.
