Confirmed Our best read Not stated

Good to know

  • +Genuinely international, not Indonesia-only: open to undergraduate and graduate students from universities internationally, and past winners include German and Australian teams
  • +Unusually well-documented source page: full stage-by-stage timeline, entry categories, submission formats, rules, downloadable handbook, FAQ and contact details
  • +Concrete career upside: cash prizes, certificates, and exclusive internship, scholarship or early recruitment opportunities at Bank Rakyat Indonesia
  • +Strong institutional backing from Universitas Gadjah Mada with BRI, with named winners published for 2022, 2023 and 2024

Worth checking yourself

  • !THIS ROUND IS CLOSED. Applications are not currently open and no new date has been published by the organisation. Do not plan around this listing until it is confirmed reopened.
  • !Registration closed 10 July 2026 and the 2026 final concludes 29 August 2026. The record showing Rolling is actively misleading
  • !Team-only and structurally restrictive even when open: three students from the same university, at least one from the Faculty of Economics and Business, composition may not change, and each member needs a university letter
  • !University students only, so it is outside LOT's youngest audience entirely
  • !The Grand Final is in person in Jakarta with no stated travel or accommodation cover, so international finalists would likely travel at their own cost
  • !Prizes are winnings, not funding. Nothing is paid to ordinary participants
