The AU-EU Youth Action Lab is a European Union funded programme run by Oxfam, the European Youth Forum and Restless Development Uganda. Its Innovation Grants give youth-led organisations EUR 42,000 over twelve months to design, test, adapt, scale or improve a solution to a global challenge in their own community. Thirteen grants are available, and the organisers say this is the final call for proposals of the programme. **What you get:** - EUR 42,000 for a twelve month project, paid to your organisation in two instalments - Mentorship and capacity development support shaped around what your organisation needs - A place on the Youth Action Lab platform to share your solution with peers, decision makers and other stakeholders across Africa and Europe - Funded travel for up to two representatives to an in person Link and Learn event in one of the twelve focus countries, budgeted inside the grant - At least 5 percent of the grant set aside for technical support to strengthen your organisation **What you'll do:** - Design, test, adapt, scale or improve an activity, approach, campaign or collaboration that creates lasting change for young people in your community - Address a global challenge linked to the Sustainable Development Goals, Agenda 2063 or another relevant framework, using an intersectional approach - Run your project over twelve months, from January 2027 to December 2027 - Join monthly online progress calls with the Oxfam team and monthly social hangouts with other grantees on the Power2Voices platform - Share what you learn with youth actors and other stakeholders across Africa and Europe **Key dates:** - Applications close 23 September 2026 at 13:00 Central African Time - Review by Oxfam and the Youth Advisory Board, plus due diligence, 24 September to 20 November 2026 - Results announced December 2026, with selected applicants notified by January 2027 - Grant implementation period January 2027 to December 2027 - In person Link and Learn event around June 2027, in one of the twelve focus countries **More information:** - Full eligibility, budget rules and application guidance are in the Innovation Grant funding manual, published in English, Portuguese and French - Applications are submitted through the ON Grip online system, which you reach by first completing a short registration form - Questions about this grant go to innovation@aueuyouth.com
