Early-stage work on livelihoods for rural communities
Kebede Roba Elema, newly graduated, is in the early stages of building practical solutions that improve livelihoods for rural communities.
Practical solutions that improve livelihoods for rural communities. That is how Kebede Roba Elema describes his work, and the routes he names are agriculture, entrepreneurship and youth engagement.
He is plain about where things stand. "While I am still in the early stages," he says, he has gained experience in quality assurance, environmental protection and community-focused initiatives, "which have strengthened my understanding of local challenges."
“I care about creating opportunities for young people to access skills, employment, and sustainable incomes.”

He has just graduated.
What he wants to test are practical solutions that could grow into a sustainable community enterprise. "My goal is to learn from the pilot, measure its impact, and expand it over time," he says.
